We believe in responsible business that supports development

Responsible business is a cornerstone of sustainable development globally.  We believe that sustainability and profitability are intrinsically linked. Ethical businesses that promote best practice to support the development of individuals and communities at the same time as respecting the environment are more profitable in both the short and long term. It is not only the right thing to do socially but it makes financial sense. Through our support of the UN Global Compact and anti-bribery and corruption measures we work towards this being a standard procedure for all businesses.

Dints is proud to be a participant of the United Nations Global Compact, a group for businesses that are committed to aligning operations and strategies with ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. Every year we report on the progress we have made on these areas and our 2013-2014 Communication on Progress is available on this site and on the UN Global Compact website.

We are always open to discussing new ways in which we can further our commitment to the principles of the UN Global Compact so please contact us if you have any suggestions.

Anti-bribery and corruption

We conduct all of our business in an open, honest and ethical manner. We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all of our relationships wherever we operate and implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery.

We do this in accordance with our participation in the UN Global Compact and because it is the right thing to do. Our full anti-bribery policy is available to download.

UN Declaration of Human Rights

Dints supports the principles in the UN Declaration of Human Rights. We believe that the inherent dignity and equal rights of all humans is fundamental to strong communities and good business. You can read the full declaration on the United Nations website.
